Terms & submission rules

These terms apply to everyone who uses Pebbles (pebbles.ch), run by Philip Pavo (see the legal notice). By using the site you accept them.

What Pebbles is

Pebbles is a free, independent directory of apps and services that are useful in Switzerland. Listings are curated by hand and are never paid for. Search results are ranked with the help of an AI model and can be incomplete or wrong. Always check the details on the provider's own website.

No guarantee

We work carefully, but we don't guarantee that listings are complete, current or correct, or that the site is always available. We are not responsible for third-party apps and websites we link to; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Names, logos and icons

Names, logos and icons of listed services belong to their owners and are used only to identify those services. A listing doesn't imply endorsement in either direction. Owners can ask us at any time to correct or remove their listing or its logo by writing to hello@pebbles.ch.

Submission rules

Anyone can suggest an app, their own or someone else's. When you submit one:

• It must be a real, working app, website or service that is useful for people in Switzerland.
• The information you give must be accurate and must not mislead.
• No spam, and nothing illegal, adult, gambling-related, or promoting crypto trading or similar speculative offers.
• If you say you are the owner or maker, you confirm that you are allowed to submit it on the provider's behalf.
• Use a real email address; we use it only to follow up on your submission.

By submitting, you allow us, free of charge and without obligation, to list the app with its name, link, a description (which we may write or edit ourselves), and publicly available information such as its website description and icon.

Every submission is reviewed by a person. We may decline, edit or later remove any listing without giving a reason, and there is no right to be listed. Submitting and listing are free.

How we handle the data you submit is described in the privacy policy.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for damage arising from the use of Pebbles or of listed services. Liability for intent and gross negligence remains.

Changes and applicable law

We may change these terms; the version on this page applies, with its date at the top. Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's place of residence or registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
